Ann Jane Dunbar 1831-1858

It seems these two ladies were the first and second wives of William Dunbar. Ann Jane was the daughter of Joseph Tyson (born Wales) and Elizabeth Rachel Brymer (born Scotland). She was born in Wales and married to William Dunbar on 10th September, 1857. Ann was living at Pentland Hills when she died.
Margaret Ellen was the daughter of Maurice Dore and Bridget Hough. She was born in Co Limerick.
She married William Dunbar at Peter McCluskey’s house, Ballarat Rd, Pentland Hills, on 30.08.1859.
The ‘Express’ of 14.12.1878 reported, ‘Mrs Dunbar, wife of Mr Dunbar, a very old resident of the Pentland Hills, was buried on Thursday in the old R.C. Cemetery, Bacchus Marsh, and a long funeral procession testified to the respect in which she was held. Her illness was a lengthy and painful one.
