Catherine Hamilton 1803-1882
Catherine was born in Ireland and married John Hamilton in that country when she was 24. Her death certificate listed the following children: Hugh 52 years, Mary 49 years, James 46 years, Susan 43 years and Charles 40 years. A shoemaker by the name of John Hamilton, was listed on the West Burke Electoral Roll as a leaseholder.
