Ellen Hjorth 1878-1917
Ellen was the wife of Jens (Jack) Christian Hjorth. They married in 1907. Ellen was born in Bacchus Marsh to John McCormack and Ellen Bowe.
John Hjorth was the son of Anders Hjorth, an early resident of Coimadai. John farmed land at Coimadai. Some time after his wife’s death he moved to Sunshine. John and Ellen had five known children.
