John Condon married Catherine Wainright on 19th August, 1859. Catherine’s parents were George Wainright and Mary Crowe. Mary Crowe was born in Tipperary. She married when she was nineteen at St Francis, Melbourne. They had two children before George died. Mary was married again to John Devereux and a third time, after John’s death, to Michael Richardson.
John Condon and Catherine Wainright Condon had ten children. Two of those children, Mary, and Catherine are buried in the family grave at Hopetoun Cemetery.
