John Will 1868-1868
Margaret Will 1869-1890
Albert Will 1872-1903
John, who was one day old when he died, Margaret, 21 years and Albert, 31 years, were the children of Albert Will and Ellen McDonough/McDonald who married in 1863. Wal Stewart in his book ‘The Early History of Bacchus Marsh Schools’ wrote ‘Those farmers living several miles from each of Bacchus Marsh, Coimadai and Bullengarook, in 1880, petitioned the Minister to have a school provided for their children.’ Albert Will was a signatory. He owned a small allotment on the Gisborne Road. ‘An acre for ten pounds owned by Albert Will was deemed the best site available so it was purchased. The portable Bullengarook school was shifted and became Goodman’s Creek State School. The school didn’t last long and the acre was sold back to Albert Will for the original price.’
