Mary Ann died when she was nine months old from meningitis. Bridget died when she was just five weeks old and nine year old Charles was accidentally drowned in a waterhole in the Werribee River. They were the children of Robert Entreken from Glasgow, Scotland and Mary Hamilton from Co Donegal, Ireland. Robert and Mary were married in Fr Eugene O’Connell’s residence at Darley, Bacchus Marsh on 13.02.1860. Robert was a bullock driver.
Mary had previously been married to John McPherson, who died in 1855. Their son, Charles McPherson, was born and died in 1855.
