Mary Glasheen 1850-1869
Mary’s death certificate spells her surname as Leasheen. Mary was the daughter of Richard Glasheen and Catherine Heffernan who married on 24th February, 1811 in Tipperary Parish. Mary’s baptism is documented in the same parish. She was 19 when she died. Mary was from Tipperary which is where Fr Glasheen’s ancestors lived. No doubt he and Mary will share a common ancestor albeit several generations back.
