However, the Patrick Healy, who died in 1844, left his four acres to Thomas Cain. This man may be the Patrick Haley who was living in Bacchus Marsh and was, on several occasions, noted on death certificates as a witness. If so, he would be the husband of Ellen Burke Haley.
